Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to this being small and intimate, also due to having an amazing generous photographer that allows a few, we ask that just the few in the wedding and immediate family invited that there be no extras (atleast during ceremony). If extras were to travel up, they are more than welcome at the reception/celebration. Just the ceremony it self is very limited due to location. We are planning an out of state celebration that will meet in the middle of everyone that was invited to allow everyone and the dates they would’ve brought to the wedding to be included then.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Bridal ladies and Grooms party will obviously have their own attire. As far as everyone else, know there will be photos taken with each guest. Wear what makes you feel nice but please steer clear of the basic tshirt look. At least until after the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For all out of state guests, as we assume majority of everyone is going to fly that they figure out what would work best for them when it comes to renting a car and such. Highly recommend if people wanted to tag team it and multiple people share rental cars, that may be easier. However you please, as we will not be worrying about that and allowing guest to do what they need.

Things to know before coming ?

DRINK WATER. STAY HYDRATED!! No joke !! With the altitude, you need a good amount of water in your system while here or you can suffer things as headaches the entire time or even altitude sickness. If you plan on hiking or anything active while here, take your time. Allow your body time to adjust. DRINKING - You do not need the same amount of alcohol in your system here as you do in SC. Believe me and don’t test it. You can get a buzz quicker off less here, it’s awesome and money saving. lol But in all seriousness, be safe. Definitely recommend sunscreen for summer, as you are closer to the sun you don’t have to be out as long to get a good amount of sun exposure. If you are driving, especially back road kinda roads, and someone is driving close to you and you see a dirt pull off ..TAKE IT. Those are placed there so the slower drivers pull over and allow others to pass. You’ll be less stressed, the Colorado drivers will be less stressed, win win.

When will everyone know about the celebration information?

Answer

Once we do the intimate ceremony, we will start on making the cards for everyone. Usually as you would do save the date cards , just with a photo of our special day stating we eloped and underneath with all the information about the celebration. If anyone has any cool recommendations on places that are the middle point of Spartanburg and Rutherford Tennessee , we will check into them closer to time.
