The Criterion
This is a fantastic pub, right in the heart of town. They are especially well known for their home-brewed ales and excellent "cri-pies".
The Keys Bar
This is a true locals pub. Great selection of whisky and a unique vibe. Just don't mention the University students...
The Jigger Inn
A must visit for golf lovers, the Jigger Inn has a good selection of beers and bar snacks. It is located right off of the 17th "road" hole of the Old Course.
Tailend
Our favourite "chippie" in town. Don't miss the Haddock supper, or a battered sausage for the more adventurous diners.
The Seafood Ristorante
An upmarket dining experience with unbelievable views of the North Sea. The locally sourced seafood is some of the best in the world.
Northpoint Café
Check out the spot where Kate met Wills (for coffee)! We recommend the cakes and scones.
Fife Coastal Path
For the more entrepid visitors, the coastal path boasts beautfiul views of the coastline and the St Andrews skyline. Be sure to pack windproof gear - it can get quite breezy.
West Sands Beach
Well worth a stroll. Re-enactments of the famous "chariots of fire" scene are tolerated, but certainly not encouraged.
St Andrews Cathedral
Well worth an explore, this 12th century cathedral is steeped in history. Make sure to check out the historic cemetery and St Rule's tower.
