When are RSVPs due?
Answer
June 26th at the latest!! We have lots to figure out with a destination wedding, so we need to figure out numbers to make sure everyone in the Hampton and/or rentals in Corolla are accounted for with our provided transportation.

What is the transportation situation?
Answer
There will be transportation available for those who are staying in the Hampton Inn or in town in Corolla (off of the 4x4). The transportation will include three total stops- one at the Hampton, one at the Twiddy Company parking lot, and one at the Chesapeake (venue). Anyone staying in rental homes may park at Twiddy for transportation to pick you up and take you onto the 4x4. Those who are staying on the 4x4 will need to arrange your own transportation. Drop offs are ideal as parking at the venue will be extremely tight.

When will transportation pick up take place?

Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:30, therefore anyone staying at the Hampton or parking at Twiddy for bus pick-up will need to expect to be picked up by 4:30pm.

Where is the venue?
Answer
The address of our venue is 1441 Ocean Pearl Road, 4x4, NC 27927. This is also where some family of the bride and groom will be staying for the week. Because the house/venue is on the 4x4 beach in Outer Banks, a car with 4-wheel drive is required to get there. However, any guests staying at the hotel will be provided transportation to and from the venue and do not have to worry about transportation on the day of the wedding.

Should I stay in the hotel or rent a house?
Answer
If you are planning on coming for a few nights just to attend the wedding, we recommend staying in the hotel. However, if you are staying more than three nights in the Outer Banks, we would recommend finding a rental house through Twiddy Vacation Rentals (or any other OBX rental company) either on the 4x4 (4WD vehicle required) or in Northern Corolla, closest to the 4x4. Feel free to reach out to Kim Machinski (mother of the bride) via email (chmachinski@aol.com) about house rental recommendations, but the sooner this gets done, the more options you will have!
