Flight
If you're flying to NYC, our closest airports are JFK and La Guardia in Queens, New York. You could also fly into Newark Liberty Airport in NJ. From there, we recommend utilizing taxis. Please only take cabs you have hailed or that are yellow or green.

House Or Rental
If a hotel isn't the right fit, you can find something on Airbnb. Please use scrutiny before booking. Also, the venue and the hotel are not near each other. In case it helps in making a decision on where to book, we’ll be spending most of our time around the hotel area in Downtown Brooklyn.
Travel Note
Brooklyn offers a variety of parking options depending on where you're going. Hotels often have garages to park in for a fee or there might be free street parking around where you're staying. Please keep alternate side parking in mind as NYC likes to clean its streets.
Travel Note
Pretty much everything in New York is accessible by public transportation but we do recommend downloading the Lyft, Uber, or Via apps to get around once you're here.
Train
If you are exploring the city a bit, we recommend getting a Metro Card from one of the subway kiosks. You can purchase a card for $1 and then add money to it. You really only need one card for the group. Just be sure to put enough cash on it. As of 1/6/18, the fare is $2.75 per trip.
