We’re getting married! ¡Nos estamos casando!

It all began in the summer of 2023 at YayCamp. Believe it or not, it wasn’t love at first sight. We simply found ourselves crossing paths, bumping into each other here and there, almost as if God was gently weaving our stories together. One of the days, Steven approached me, and what started as a simple conversation turned into something unforgettable. We spoke deeply about our journeys to Christ, about our families, and about the lives we had lived so far. In that moment, a spark quietly lit between us—something we couldn’t explain. After camp, life carried us in different directions, and we thought that was the end of our short story. But God had other plans. A year later, through the connection of a dear friend our paths crossed once again. This time, we knew it wasn’t by accident. What began as small encounters grew into something beautiful, and now here we are grateful, in love, and ready to spend forever together. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Todo comenzó en el verano de 2023 en YayCamp. Aunque parezca increíble, no fue amor a primera vista. Simplemente nos encontramos, encontrándonos aquí y allá, casi como si Dios estuviera entrelazando nuestras historias. Uno de los días, Steven se acercó a mí, y lo que empezó como una simple conversación se convirtió en algo inolvidable. Hablamos profundamente sobre nuestro camino hacia Cristo, sobre nuestras familias y sobre las vidas que habíamos vivido hasta entonces. Después del campamento, la vida nos llevó por caminos diferentes, y pensamos que ese era el final de nuestra corta historia. Pero Dios tenía otros planes. Un año después, gracias la conexión de un querido amigo, nuestros caminos se cruzaron de nuevo. Esta vez, supimos que no fue casualidad. Lo que empezó como pequeños encuentros se convirtió en algo hermoso, y ahora aquí estamos: agradecidos, enamorados y listos para pasar la eternidad juntos.
