Question
What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, but our home will be open to guests at 4pm. Drinks will be available, and you can secure a seat (seating is limited!) and get comfortable before the ceremony begins.

What Food Will Be Served?

We are working with Ming’s to create a custom menu using their iconic Food Truck. We absolutely love these guys - they’re like our doppelgängers and we really look up to them. Expect the menu to reflect Steve and Mahtab’s personality: bold, bright, and lots of flavor! We’ll have at least one gluten free option, and vegetarian option. Where Do I Park?
Answer
We live in a small neighborhood, on a long semi-major street. We have ample street parking along Martin Street and Dodge St. (or any of the surrounding streets) Please avoid parking right in front of someone’s front door, etc. If you run out of a space to park, feel free to park in the parking lots at Silver Spring Elementary school (a .25 mile walk from our house). Please do NOT park in our driveway or directly in front of our home :)

What Should I Wear?
Answer
The official dress code is “Garden Party/Semi-Formal” May we suggest the following attire: Women: Midi- or knee-length dress, dressy separates or jumpsuit. Wedges, chunky heels or flats for walking on the grass. Men: Dress slacks with button-down shirt and tie, coat optional. However, we are entirely fine with you wearing jeans if that means you’re comfortable!

Are Children Invited?
Answer
Yes x 1,000. We absolutely love your children, and hope they can be apart of our day. We’ve gone out of our way to make the party child friendly. We will have a bounce house, several kid friendly areas, and kid friendly food. You are welcome to use all of our own changing table supplies, as well as nursing area if you need it. We have been intentional with our schedule to make sure you can enjoy as much as possible before needing to leave for bedtime!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
We know you can't predict the weather, and there's a good chance it could change… But Rhode Island is absolutely stunning this time of year. Prepare yourself for high 60’s, low 70’s and the possibility of rain. The current forecast shows bright and beautiful days, but… you never know! In the event of rain, we’ll move the ceremony under a tent and make the best of it.

Who should I contact if I have questions about the event?
Answer
If your questions are prior to the day of, contact Mahtab using What’s App. She’ll be out of the country until May 23rd, and your best bet is to get ahold of her there. On the day of, please contact a close friend or family member (take your pic, many of them will be involved), as Mahtab and Steve will both be very busy.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Yes! There will be a tap trailer serving Non-Alcoholic and Alcoholic drinks. We’ve decided to pay for your first two drinks, but the remainder of your drink consumption will be a cash bar!

Do You Have a Registry?
Answer
Nope! We’ve been married for 5 years and have accumulated enough things, and have owned our home for 4 years and have what we need. We’re not funding a honeymoon either, and as far as we know, there’s no other kids on the way. Please, do not feel pressured to purchase a gift. We are just happy to have you there to celebrate with us!
