Are kid welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a cocktail dress, pantsuit, or mid-length dress. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please be mindful of the weather as we hope to have our ceremony outside.

What time should I get there?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! We also have a shuttle taking guests from the hotel to the ceremony. The shuttle departs the hotel at 3:20pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of parking! If you choose to enjoy some specialty cocktails at the reception, you can leave your car parked at the venue overnight and pickup in the morning. We encourage guests to utilize the shuttle service and have a safe and fun night!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do have a hotel block for guests at the Courtyard Marriott York. Details can be found on the travel page of our website.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle service that will bring guests from the Courtyard Marriot York (departing at 3:20pm) to the venue and back at the end of the night.

Question

I get tired early, is there a way for me to get back to the hotel prior to the end of the reception?

Answer

Our hotel offers a small shuttle for those who would like to leave early. Please let us know when you are ready to go and we will organize a ride for you.
