Maid of Honor
Rejeena and I first met in 3rd grade. Since then, we have been through a lot. Together, Rejeena and I completed high school, applied for our US visas, traveled to the US, and have lived in the same apartment, taken the same classes, and worked the same job for the past 4 years at Truman. We have spent all of this time together and somehow we have still managed to not get tired of each other. We have created many fun memories together and have helped each other through many tough times as well. I am very thankful for this girl and all the laughter and positivity she spreads to me and all those around her.
Bridesmaid
Sweyasha is definitely my mom away from home. For the past 4 years at Truman, she has shown me great kindness and love and her cooking always makes me feel less homesick (I have to admit that she is a better cook than my mom). Sweyasha is a blessing to all those who are close to her. I treasure all the times we have laughed, cried, danced, and acted crazy together. My memories with her are locked inside my heart.
Bridesmaid
My study buddy for tax and audit. She is the queen of acting, a good dancer, a movie and tv show fanatic, and most importantly, an expert masseuse. I could always count on her to give me a massage after a long and tiring day at work. I am excited that we will be together for an extra year of grad school and that I don't have to struggle alone studying for the CPA exam.
Bridesmaid
Miss Thapa is my craziest, coolest, and loudest sister. She brings a smile to my face everytime I see her. She was the first person to predict that Steven and I would be together someday. I am very blessed and thankful to God for letting me meet this beautiful soul who tolerates my anger and feistiness. She is always there for relationship advice as well as life advice. Without her I would have been homesick during my first semester at Truman.
Bridesmaid
I had never thought I would be friends with this girl when I first met her at the Kansas City airport because she was very talkative. However, my thoughts did not last very long. Not only did we become friends, but very close friends. Even though we have our differences, we have gained a unique perspective on life from them. She is always ready to make me vegetarian food and has always been there for me when I have been sick or have needed someone to listen to my problems.
Best Man
This guy is high energy and an extreme extrovert. He can quote just about any movie and hand designs some of the coolest custom-made action figures I have ever seen. Truman State University would have not been the same without him there.
Groomsman
Stephen is the most selfless person I know. He enjoys taking thousand mile road trips... by himself. He was basically my body guard when I went to Ghana and he always cooks me Ghanaian "Jollof" whenever I see him.
Groomsman
Nick is very hospitable - I frequently stay at his house and love spending time with him and his family. I enjoy playing games, running, cliff jumping, and jet skiing with him. I know that I can always count on my brother.
Groomsman
Noah's wedding was the first ever in which I was honored to be a groomsman. Now, I'm returning the favor. I have only known my brother-in-law 4 years, but it seems like it has been much longer than that. I always enjoy my time with him.
Groomsman
Grant is one of the kindest and most considerate people I know. I thoroughly enjoy philosophical conversations with him. He can attract just about any Nepali girl with his arsenal of romantic Nepali phrases.
Groomsman
Josh is an absolute wizard with graphic design and animation. He hails from from the legendary city of Bethany, Missouri and is a huge fan of Emma Watson. Josh has definitely made me a better man and it never gets old seeing him!
Officiant
Brandon is a total nerd with Greek and Hebrew. He has wisdom beyond his years. I consider him a mentor, friend, and brother.
