Steven and I met in March 2019, at a mutual friend’s get-together (thanks, Brittany!). We talked all night, Steven beat me at foosball a few times, and then drove me home at the end of the night. I wasn’t expecting to talk or see him again, but to my surprise he texted me the next day and took me on our first date 3 days later! A few month later, Steven adopted our first fur baby, Bolt, through Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue. In October, I showed up to Steven’s house and was blessed with the greatest surprise - he had adopted a little sister for Bolt, named Storm! The next January, Steven bought a house and moved to Stillwater. I joined in March and the dogs have been spoiled full-time ever since! One of our favorite things to do together is travel. We were both itching to travel after the long pandemic quarantine, so we booked a trip to Mexico to sit on the beach (Steven’s favorite) and visit the only world wonder we could get to during the pandemic (Anna’s favorite). On March 8th, we joined a small group and toured Chichén Itzá. After taking a million pictures and soaking it in, I checked the time and noticed we only had 2 minutes to get back to our group to leave. Steven suggested we “make it count” and dropped to his knee to propose! Of course I said yes and we were able to celebrate with a few more days back at the beach. Now we are planning our big day to tie the knot and start our lives as husband and wife. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in June! With love, Anna & Steven
