Would you rather have your only mode of transportation be a donkey or a giraffe? A giraffe because it has longer legs which means it can go further with less energy needed. Also, it can provide shade while on long trips. Depending on where we are, leaves are pretty common, therefore, we just need to stop at a tree every now and then to feed.
