About Us

We were both going to Valley City State University for college and we had choir together. After months of Steven standing behind me and developing a secret crush, he finally decided to talk to me via Facebook messenger. He was very polite and sweet, so I decided to give him a chance. I knew he was someone special shortly after we began hanging out. One day for lunch he made me mac & cheese with hotdogs, which is the ultimate lunch. We started growing feelings for each other, and finally he asked me a very important question that I had been waiting for - "I told my friends you're my girlfriend, is that okay?". And with those words, our journey began!

Steven and I joined some of his family in Orlando, Florida for a little vacation. Steven had a "date day" planned for us during our trip. I was very impressed since I usually do all of the planning! Steven began our day at the Ritz-Carlton Spa, where we both got amazing massages and were treated like royalty. Then, he took me to ICON Park. We visited some animals at Sea Life while waiting for our reservation for the Wheel. When we were on the Wheel, we got to see many of the parks we had visited that week from up above. He distracted me with the beautiful sunset while he got into position to pop the question! When I turned around he was on one knee with a beautiful ring and an adorable smile. Of course I said yes! It was so cute, and cheesy, and perfect. Just like us.
