Our venue is in Saratoga. Check out this cute little town that sits on the edge of the mountain.
Downtown San Jose is so lively at night. The San Pedro Market is a a food market where you can get food and drinks from all over the world. There is typically live music in the evening too. In the surrounding area are restaurants, tiki bars and other themed bars, museums, theater shows, bowling, live music, and dancing. Not far away is Japantown for more amazing food and shopping options.
This is a Santa Cruz staple. It's about 45 minutes from San Jose by car. Parking is typically $25 right at the boardwalk. You'll find carnival games, rides, funnel cakes, fried oreos, mini golf, and the beach. The Pier is also a great place for restuarants and local souvenirs. From the boardwalk you can board the train to the redwoods and back to make a day of it!
This is a beautiful place to get a taste of the redwoods. One side of the tracks is an old mining town, and the other is a short trail through giant redwoods. You can also board the train to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk from here and back to make a day of it.
Explore vintage shops and delicous food. Don't forget to try Pizza My Heart!
Check out the shops and dining on East Campbell Ave and at The Pruneyard.

We love this park and have camped there twice so far. Make sure to enter from the East side. If you are lucky, the caves may be open!
