If you only have time to do one thing on this list, visiting Bottleworks District is our top rec. There’s something for everyone here, from children to adults. Try any number of restaurants (Rosemary & Olive, Modita, Garage Food Hall and more) for food and cocktails; the Living Room Theater for a movie with food and drink service; Woodhouse Spa for a little self care; Pins for duckpin bowling, bocce ball, pinball and more (including beer and cocktails but still kid-friendly until 9pm); or Pumkinfish for a souvenir. The list goes on - all within the very walkable Bottleworks District.
Our wedding venue by night, and by day, a world class art museum. The Marino Wedding may be the main feature, but some of the most famous artists in global history make for a good opening act. While on site, we recommend checking out Claude Monet’s The Charing Cross Bridge, Robert Indiana’s Love sculpture, or any of the works of Indiana-born T.C. Steele.
Indy has so many fantastic restaurants, but St. Elmo Steak House warrants its own mention. You'll need a reservation, but if you do land at this swanky steak house, you'll be in elite company. World famous for its extra spicy shrimp cocktail sauce, this restaurant boasts an impressive menu filled with plenty of American classics. If you’re wanting something lighter, meander down to its sister restaurant, Harry & Izzy’s, or up to the 1933 Lounge for cocktails and a selection of St. Elmo’s most popular appetizers.
