When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on June 28, 2025, at Newfields (The Indianapolis Museum of Art), located at 4000 N Michigan Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46208. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, on Lilly Terrace, surrounded by the Newfields gardens. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing will follow inside the museum. Please allow 20-25 minutes to walk from the parking lot or garage to Lilly Terrace, or take the complimentary golf cart valet to the ceremony. Transportation will be provided (details to follow) from the hotel blocks, so if you’re on board the transportation we provide, you will arrive at the right time.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress in formal attire—think elevated summer wedding. Feel free to express your personal style while keeping it elegant!

Can I bring a plus-one? Are my children invited?

Answer

Our wedding is an intimate gathering, and we are excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. If your invitation includes a plus-one, either that person’s name or the word “Guest” appears on your RSVP on our website. If your invitation includes children, their names also appear on your RSVP on our website.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be complimentary self-parking in the Newfields garage or in the main parking lot at the venue.

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at both Bottleworks Hotel and Le Méridien in downtown Indianapolis. Both are excellent hotels and can be booked through the “Travel” tab of our website to take advantage of our special group rates.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes, we will provide transportation from Bottleworks Hotel and Le Méridien to Newfields prior to the ceremony; and then after the reception, to the Encore after party (located inside Bottleworks Hotel) and to Le Méridien. Ubers and Lyfts are also easily accessible in the Indy area if you need a little flexibility.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure you are well taken care of.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors, on grass. Our cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Please plan your footwear and attire accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If my children were invited to the wedding, are they also invited to Welcome Night and the Encore?

Answer

Children are more than welcome to join us for Welcome Night. As much as we’d love to see them rock the Encore, that event is intended for adults only.

I’m thinking about coming to town an extra day or two before Welcome Night. Is there anything fun to do in the Indy area?

Answer
