Abiqua Falls

Crooked Finger Rd NE, Scotts Mills, OR 97375

This is where we went to take our engagement photos last year. This waterfall reminded us of a waterfall we visited in Iceland and so we thought it was fitting for our photos. Please be aware that it is very steep to get down to this waterfall. Definitely bring good shoes.

Multnomah Falls

53000 East Historic Columbia River Hwy, Corbett, OR 97014

If you're up for a bigger adventure, there is a great hiking loop that lets you see Wahkeena Falls, Fairy Falls, Ecola Falls, Wiesendanger Falls, Dutchman Falls and Multnomah Falls. We recommend parking closer to Wahkeena Falls and finishing near Multnomah Falls. Multnomah Falls is extremely popular, has lots of tourists and the parking area near it fills up very quickly.

Cape Meares Lighthouse

Hood River is a super cool town with tons of activities to do. You can go paddle boarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, go cider tasting at one or many of the Hood River Cider Distilleries, or even enjoy a great cup of coffee at Stoked Roasters. Hood River has a completely different climate from Portland and the Coast. It is much drier, much sunnier, and usually has some wind.
