So why Portland?
Answer
Neither of us are from Oregon but we both love the Pacific Northwest and all of its outdoor activities. We thought it was cool to be deep in the forest one day, at the beach the next and hiking on side of a volcano the next. Since we're drawn to the outdoors, the idea of being surrounded by nature in a place that brought us joy was what really made us want to share the magic of Portland with our family and friends on our most special day.

To the ceremony at Hoyt Arboretum, absolutely! We wish that we could host a huge family-friendly bash but we've chosen a smaller, intimate reception space. Please accept our adults-only request as an invitation to let loose for the evening and celebrate with great friends.

Is there a hotel courtesy block?
Answer
Yes. The Sentinel Hotel has a courtesy block of 10 hotel rooms set aside. Rooms associated with the courtesy block must be booked by May 28, 2021. The hotel provided us with the complementary courtesy block from July #, 2021 to July #, 2021 at their standard rate $279/night. In order to book are room as a part of this block, please call the hotel at 877-239-0882 and tell them that you are trying to book a room with KC + Steve Wedding Block. Additionally, The Provinence Hotel chain, which the Sentinel Hotel is a part of, also provided us with a Promotional Code for the other hotels in their chain that provides a floating percentage discount off the hotel's Best Flexible Rate on any room type booked on their website. Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
You can pre-stage your car at Blockhouse (the reception venue). Both venues will have plenty of parking if you'd prefer to drive your own car or take a taxi/Uber/Lyft.
