Maid of Honor
The little sis, who isn't so little anymore. She has many stories from when we were kids that I'm sure she'd love to tell (but just remember, they will probably tend to favor her side of the story). We adventured around endlessly together growing up in the military, and now we get another type of adventure - wedding planning!
Bridesmaid
My fellow coffee - lover. Ariel and I are friends joined together by college classes but you still can't separate us -- whether that's through phone calls, meeting up after work at our favorite place to catch up, or going on day trips. We joke that one day we will work at the same school, and own a cafe together - we'd be busy bees!
Bridesmaid
Jess and I are also friends from sophomore year of college and have been so since. Now, we are roommates in our townhouse and both have many teacher stories to share after work each night. It's been the running joke for years now that whenever we go anywhere together, we always get asked if we're sisters, so look for the other tall and blonde - haired girl!
Bridesmaid
Miranda and I met at the perfect time - right after Christmas of our sophomore year of college as well. We didn't know it at the time, but our parents were in neighboring towns (yay!), and we were freakishly alike in too many ways. We had our first "adulting" apartment together our senior year and it was one of the highlights from college. Now she lives in Brazil and FaceTime is a must to stay in touch. Although she won’t be able to be there in person, she’ll still be there through the phone!
Bridesmaid
Karoline and I didn't meet during college, but I have a feeling our relationship is also going to be a lasting one. The first time I met Karoline was at Sunday night family dinner, the same weekend I was meeting Steve's parents. She has a way of making people feel like they fit right in, and is also the mom to the sweet flower girl and ring bearer.
Bridesmaid
The junior year trio in the education courses, as we liked to call ourselves. Abi, Ariel, and I loved drinking our coffee, going out for Mexican food, and lesson planning together. I remember endless times of Abi and I sitting and either chatting about day to day things, or encouraging each other in deeper conversations. Her joy and laughter are both infectious, so watch out!
Best Man
I met Mark in Carver Hall on the campus of Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. It was my first semester, and one night in the dorm I heard a chorus of laughter at the end of the hallway. I went to discover its source and it came from Mark's room. Mark was sitting in his room and had a group of guys rolling in laughter. I became friends with the one I dubbed the king of Carver. Mark has more than a great sense of humor; he is thoughtful, caring, and utterly fun to be around.
Groomsman
Luke and I met all the way back at Ford Middle School. Him and his brother Alex were new, but soon became apart of our group of friends, and the rest is history. Luke shares my passion for Cleveland sports and classic bro-comedies. He is a kind and faithful friend.
Groomsman
I remember when Justin started dating Karoline back in the early 2000s - when everyone had frosted tips and loved boy bands. I was in their wedding back in the day, and now we've come full circle. He is like the cool older brother I never had. I've always admired Justin for how fun he is and how much he loves the people around him.
Groomsman
I met Coye around the same time I met Mark. Coye immediately impressed me with his coolness, maturity, and integrity. He has become a dear brother in the Lord who sharpens me intellectually and spiritually. Coye, Mark, and I shared a house known as "The Flight Deck," where we facilitated one of first dates Coye had with his now wife, Emily.
Groomsman
Ryan is another member of the Southern Seminary crew. Our friendship budded when we went to Israel with our school. It was an unforgettable experience full of laughs and late night card games! I can't keep up with Ryan's love for Arkansas sports, but he has the best place to watch any game.

Kate's sweet cousins. Lucie coined my nickname when she was younger and it's now stuck. Way back when she was trying to learn how to say "cousin Kate," she meshed the two and it came out as Cupcate...Cupcake. To this day, I am still called Cupcake, and maybe that's where my love for baking cupcakes stemmed from.
