Maid of Honor
From legendary tea parties to telling all our teachers I was "Caitlin Alday's little sister," now Caitlin is the first person I turn to when I need medical advice, plant advice, or cooking inspiration.
Officiant
Before he was changing Madi's and Ethan's diapers, Erwin was changing the groom's diapers. Nothing screams "brotherly love" more than that.
Maid of Honor
From choosing to live colonial for a weekend to inventing an exclusive witch coven complete with a spell book and potions, Hannah and Sophia have been sharing best friend adventures since the beginning!
Best Man
Before Hannah, there was Minh. And now that there's Hannah, there's still Minh. Get the picture?
Bridesmaid
The creative genius behind our wedding invitations and so many other artistic endeavors. Audrey introduced Hannah to movies like Face/Off and Speed while feeding her delicious foods!
Groomsman
If Steve were taller, stronger, smarter, tougher, and...yeah, Matt is actually nothing like Steve at all.
Bridesmaid
Together since high school, CaityBishop is the best marble-ramp builder and burrito-eating beach buddy (just don't let her feed fries to the seagulls). Plus she always indulges Hannah's passion for ice cream which is a big win!
Groomsman
I liked Steve and Hannah so much that I decided to live with them for two whole years!
Bridesmaid
We met at grad school orientation and our friendship was cemented by sourdough, weekly pizza nights, and homework dates. Maddy gives fantastic advice on writing emails and the best book recommendations!
Groomsman
Whoever said rooming with close friends was a "bad idea" has never been to room 602 in Bradley Barracks.
Bridesmaid
The officiant's better half, the groom's birthday twin, and the coolest sister-in-law that Steve (and now, Hannah!) could ever ask for.
Groomsman
It was the power of Will's Christmas gift to Hannah one year, a crystal meant to attract love, that brought Hannah and Steve back into each other's lives. Guess he's forgiven for that one time he cut off a chunk of Hannah's hair.
Groomsman
One time, Steve went on a hike with a friend and they decided to go off-trail, eventually finding themselves falling down sheer, loose cliffs moved by a landslide. Luckily, his friend was an experienced pro and, quite literally, saved his life that day. That friend was Luis Ramirez (side note: the idea to go off-trail also happened to be Luis').
Groomsman
Smart enough to ditch the Army for the Air Force. Not smart enough to quit ordering tequila shots. Due to competing requirements imposed by the federal government, we will instead be graced with the presence of a life-sized cutout of Brendan
Mother of the Bride
Mom's spontaneity and creativity has manifested in some surprisingly fun ways over the years, including driving up a dead-end canyon, just to see where it went, and trying the most interesting foods/ice cream flavors/drinks on a menu. It has also resulted in some distinctly un-fun activities that at least made for good stories! Like the time I thought she was taking us to Disneyland and we ended up in a live, outdoor spider exhibit. I love you, Ma.
Mother of the Groom
The toughest woman Steve has ever known and the greatest confidant he could ask for. He could always count on his Mom to be his number one cheerleader and never-ending inspiration through all of his endeavors. None of the countless wonderful things in his life would have been possible without the hard work and sacrifice of his Nanay.
Father of the Bride
Some of my favorite memories of my dad involve being outside in nature, from our after-dinner hikes in the Sierra Nevadas while backpacking, long bike rides (with ice cream at the end, of course!), and wandering around whatever city we are visiting. Dad taught me a love for Lord of the Rings, every mechanical skill I know, and that the best way to experience life is to immerse yourself in it, outside and hands-in. I love you, Pops!
Father of the Groom
Steve's earliest childhood memory of his Dad is of him waking up in the middle of the night to whip up a full Filipino breakfast -- all the Spam, eggs, and rice one could ask for! -- when Steve was too sick to go to school. Those who know Esteban well know that he's the best friend anyone could ask for. Those who know him best know that he's the greatest Dad anyone could ever be lucky enough to have.
