Anna's wonderful loving Auntie! She took Anna under her wing when she moved to Virginia in 2008 for college and her parents were still in Germany. Anna is eternally grateful for her friendship, advice, and support over the years and is honored to have her stand by her side. She is also equally yoked in craziness with Anna. <3

It was a cold dreary NPS Professional development session. Anna slid in across the table from Dana and, as Anna does, she talked to this complete stranger as if she had never truly known a stranger. They bonded over their mutual love of Moe's and this eternal friendship, built of Burritos, Doctor Who, and IEPs, was born!
Amber Weyland

Amber & Anna met through an ex of Anna's in college at Virginia Tech in 2010. While that relationship didn't last, their friendship was so strong and rooted that they remained fast friends long afterwards. They both attended Radford University for graduate school and continued to grow and develop their friendship over academia, humor, and a mutual love of animals (no matter how neurotic ;) ). Despite the cross state and cross country moves the two remained friends and upon Amber's return to VA in 2017, Anna and Amber rekindled their friendship and it has only grown with their mutual love of board games, philosophical discussions, and unwavering dedication to self-improvement via eternal grad school.
Molly Quinn

Anna's oldest friend in the bridal party. Anna and Molly met at CSU as utterly clueless freshman from the opposite side of the country completely new to Ft. Collins. Molly watched, ever ready to call 911 if needed, as Anna attempted to remove fingers via hot glue and soldering irons for "art". She was there for the "That's why they call it FALL!--cause the leaves FALL DOWN" epiphany of 2007. She and Anna both moved back to the East Coast after Freshman year and remained in contact ever since. She is the only person Anna can Skype/FaceTime and lose all track of time and end up talking with for 4+ hours. They also hold records for longest Marco Polo messages.
Katelynn Whitman

Katelynn is the Yin to Anna's Yang. They are both Teacher's of the Deaf and work hard to plan exciting events (and soon A CAMP) for students with hearing loss in the Hampton Roads area. Katelynn is a beautifully no nonsense woman who keeps Anna grounded and focused when she tends to fixate on the minutia. She truly makes Anna better and is an incredible and loyal friend who is exceptional at providing wise, sound advice and giving you tough love when needed.
