FAQs

The Wedding Website of Marissa Deanna Sternefeld and James Thomas Dubois
Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered directly through Zola. You can also access a separate Crate and Barrel and Target registry, but everything on those registries are directly on Zola :)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the ceremony start. The doors will close and lock directly at 2pm, so any arrivals after that we will be happy to meet you at the reception for the party!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want all our guests to dress comfortably, but also dress as close to black tie as you can. We love a formal get together so let’s use this time to show off our fancy clothes! Please avoid sage/eucalyptus colors if possible.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones, if your child is invited it will state on the invite!

Question

What time should I arrive to NOVA 535?

Answer

The gates will open at 4:45. You are more than welcome to come any time after that!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! With the brides father who’s allergic to almost everything, the matron of honor not getting the genes to break down gluten properly, and many other guests with allergies we will be sure to accommodate all requests (within reason).

Question

What happens if I forgot to RSVP by the date?

Answer

Unfortunately, if you don’t submit your RSVP by January 31st, we won’t be able to accommodate you. We need to give our caterer and venue a final head count and your dinner choices, so this is a non-negotiable!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are wanting to keep our wedding full of the closest people to us, unfortunately we cannot accommodate plus ones for every guest. Your invite will indicate if you have a plus one for our wedding!

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

DUH! We couldn’t imagine throwing the best party of the century without it having an open bar. That being said - please drink responsibly and throw in a cup of water every couple drinks.

Question

I’ve never been to Tampa/St. Pete, what should I do that weekend?

Answer

We are so excited to have all our closest people in our favorite place. We have made a list of things we enjoy in the area if you’re staying the weekend! Check out that page on our site.

Question

Are the venues wheelchair accessible?

Answer

We are so thankful our venue has an elevator to the beautiful second floor for our guests who need a little extra help!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony has a large parking lot outside, and the reception venue has a parking lot across the street. There will be signs directing you where to park when you enter the area.

Question

Can I smoke?

Answer

You can’t smoke inside, however, everywhere outside our venue is open for smoking. If you need a light or cigar cutter, find the father of the bride. Also, please keep your choice of smoke within legal laws of the state.

Question

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Please please please refrain from using your phone during our ceremony. We paid for an amazing photographer and will be sharing all those photos once we get them! I would hate to have to photoshop someone out of our images because they held their phone in the frame. The reception is all open! Please take as many photos and videos as possible at the reception. There will be a Google Photo's link at your table to add in any photos you take that day!

Question

I have more questions, who can I ask?

Answer

If you have more questions than what’s listed here, please contact the mother of the bride, mother of the groom, matron of honor, man of honor, or best man. Please don’t ask the the groom, he probably won’t know the answer. I would also say don't ask the bride, but lets be real she has control issues and is probably the best person to answer any questions anyways.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having extremely limited transportation provided. If there is space in the limo/bus, please feel free to use it! However, we recommend having a form of transportation outside of this incase there is no more room. The area is heavily populated so worst case scenario you shouldn't have any issues calling a Lyft or Uber!
