Stephie and Diego first met in 2012 at Cypress Bay High School. Fate brought them together, as Stephie transferred to Diego's Environmental Science class. Diego, captivated by Stephie's beauty, confided in a friend that he had a feeling they would end up dating – for him, it was love at first sight. His intuition proved to be right, as their love blossomed. Diego asked Stephie to be his girlfriend by asking her to solve a math equation knowing math was her favorite subject in school (Solve for i, 9x – 7i < 3 (3x – 7u), which leads to i <3 u). As high school sweethearts, Stephie and Diego experienced the magic of young love. To find love so young and nurture it through the ups and downs of life is a testament to their unwavering commitment and devotion to each other. In 2014, their journey continued as they both attended Boston University together. During this time, Stephie and Diego relied on each other while navigating the often confusing experience of early adulthood. Here, they moved in together for the first time, both graduated and started their first jobs, and made everlasting friendships. In 2020, they welcomed Mila into their lives, bringing immeasurable joy and adding an extra dose of love to their home. Later that year, as Stephie's dreams of pursuing a medical career took her to Florida for medical school, they made the decision to move back. Two years later, Diego got down on one knee in the city of Barcelona to make their love for each other eternal. Now, on May 25th, 2024, Stephie and Diego will exchange their vows and declare their love for each other in the enchanting city of Medellin, Colombia.
