Shacharit/morning services start at 9:30. Torah service begins around 10:15 Kiddush/light lunch will follow services All are invited. An aufruf is a traditional Jewish ceremony prior to the wedding where the groom is called to the Torah for a blessing called an aliyah. When the blessing is completed, the entire congregation wishes them luck and happiness by throwing candies at them.
