Yes! Everyone is invited to join us for a casual welcome party on Friday at 6:00 PM. If you're traveling in on Friday, we'd love for you to stop by and kick off the wedding weekend with us! There will be food, drinks, lawn games, and plenty of time to relax, catch up, and meet family and friends before the big day. You can find all the details in the Schedule tab.
We've included a list of nearby accommodations on our Travel page to help make planning your trip easier. We recommend booking early, as September is a popular time to visit the area. We've also reserved hotel blocks for our guests. Please note that these discounted rates are available until August 4 and August 9, depending on the hotel, so be sure to book before the cutoff dates!
Due to our venue's limited capacity, we aren't able to offer every guest a plus one. If a plus one has been reserved for you, their name will appear on your invitation or your RSVP page will indicate "Guest." If you don't see a plus one listed but would like to bring someone, please feel free to reach out to us! While we can't make any guarantees, we'll do our best to accommodate your request if space allows.
Absolutely! We'll have an open bar all evening, so come ready to celebrate! Your safety is important to us, which is why transportation will be provided to and from the venue. If you plan on using the shuttle, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure there's room for everyone. We encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly and take advantage of the transportation provided—we'd much rather get you home safely than have you worry about driving after the festivities. Cheers!
September in the Virginia mountains can be a little unpredictable—you might get a warm, sunny afternoon or a crisp, cool fall day! We recommend checking the forecast before you travel and dressing in layers. Since the celebration will be outdoors, comfortable shoes for walking on grass and a light jacket or sweater for the evening are always a good idea. No matter what the weather brings, we'll be celebrating rain or shine under the tent!
Our dress code is semi-formal. We recommend dresses that are midi or maxi length, though floor-length gowns are certainly not required. Think polished, comfortable, and something you can dance the night away in! For the gentlemen, dress pants and a button-down shirt are perfect. Jackets are encouraged, but ties are completely optional. Since our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, we also recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass and dancing all night!
Yes! Complimentary parking is available at the venue. If you plan on enjoying the open bar, we encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle transportation provided.
