Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is a wonderful area located in the mountains in Northern Georgia. Atlanta is the closest major city to Amicalola State Park, about 1 hour and 45 min south of it. There may be other airports nearby within driving range as well. We drive the entire distance from Tampa (8 hours).

This is the State Park where we will be staying at during our Wedding week in GA. There are cabins, campsites and rooms at the lodge available for accommodations. We will be calling about group rates once we know how many will be attending.
Travel Note
Lane Southern Orchards
For all of the Florida drivers coming through Georgia, this is a must pit stop off of Highway 75 exit 142. After the exit, 5 miles down the road is Lane's where they have a restaurant and store that sells fresh peaches, pecans, jams, juices, and so much more. If you love peaches or other southern delicacies than take the time to stop here on the way. We always do!
