The night it all began

7-18-2013

The first night we met, I was at a local Beef-O-Brady's with a few friends trying to forget about recent life troubles. At the bar I sat, listening to the trivia game being played in the main room of the restaurant behind us. After some time had passed my friend turned to me and whispered "Hey Steve, that waitress keeps checking you out when she walks by" and that is when I first took notice of Sadie, the future love of my life. Even though I was not there that night to meet someone new, we had casual chit chat back and forth until I decided to sneak my number on the back of my buddies tattoo shops business card... The card she lost the next day (oh my what happened next ??)

Trivia Night to the rescue

7-25-2013

After the initial losing of my phone number, where I sat thinking I did not make a good enough impression on the cute waitress that entertained me that night, my friends called me to go back to Beefs to join in the trivia Night. We made our team and joined in the activities (which we did every week for the next year). Lucky enough, Sadie was working that night where she revealed that she lost my number and was hoping she would see me again. This time we were able to connect outside of her work place where we began months of getting to know each other and building up a strong friendship.

The path we took

5-7-2014

This was the night where we took the first step in traveling the same pathways of life's journey. Since this moment we have enjoyed countless times together as partners, best friends, and parents to our wonderful daughter Kaeli and animals Ellie, Norrie and Luna. With our ever growing family filled with love and joy we continued to walk the same path building ourselves up individually and together as one.

The night I sealed the deal

10-13-2017

After careful planning and organizing with final stage prep help from Kaeli, I set the mood just right at our home for a magical evening together. After Sadie came home from work that day she walked into a clean house, fresh flowers on the table and a hot meal just cooked by myself (me cooking is a big deal). After a lovely dinner, Kaeli played music for me and Sadie to dance to in the living room. As I held her close I whispered to her how much she meant to me and that I could not imagine spending my life without her. Getting down on one knee I asked for her hand in marriage and to spend our lives together until the very end of time... She said "YES!!"
