Stephen and Natalie met through a youth group lake party over the summer of 2019. They had mutual friends who introduced them to each other. Stephen was actually invited to the party very last minute, and could have missed out on meeting his future wife! Soon after the party, Stephen and Natalie began hanging out with their mutual friends. From that point on, the friendship grew and eventually became what will be husband and wife.

The proposal took place on November 22nd, 2023. The plan was to propose during family pictures, so Natalie wouldn't be suspicious. While Stephen got down on one knee, Natalie was so in the zone for the picture that she didn't even notice him! It took just about walking into him before she saw what was happening. After the realization hit, she was completely shocked and filled with joy. It wasn't long before all the friends and family were informed of the exciting news, then the planning began!
