Highland Park
One of Rochester’s most beautiful parks and perfect for a walk. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted (who also designed Central Park), it has scenic paths and great views. This is also where Stephen proposed!!!
Ontario Beach Park
Take a walk along Lake Ontario, enjoy the beach views, and stop for frozen custard at Abbott’s, a Rochester classic.
Letchworth State Park
This park is about an hour drive from the city. Often called the “Grand Canyon of the East,” it features dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and scenic hiking trails about an hour from Rochester.
Nerdvana Rochester
A fun video game-themed restaurant and bar downtown with great burgers and craft beer. Play video and board games, and check out their unique "potions"!

Check out their artisanal and ever-changing ice cream menu. Stephen once bought a whole pint of Maple Bacon here because it was on sale for five dollars. Spoiler: it was on sale because no-one had purchased it....not his best choice but the Horchata is to die for!
