Below are common inquiries and important information.
Question

Who is invited?

Answer

The invitees are listed on the addressed envelope for the formal invite. One invite was sent per family. Please understand that if your children are not listed on the invite, it is because we do not know them well/ have a relationship with them. Thank you!

Question

Define "cocktail attire".

Answer

The bride and groom are requesting their guests celebrate with them in appropriate attire (cocktail/semiformal). If they are dressed to the nines, so should everyone else! For men, this is preferably a suit. Please avoid jeans, khakis, boots, sneakers, and hats. For women, if you opt for a dress, it should be cut at the knee or longer (think midi/maxi dress). When in doubt, err on the more formal side, but playing with fun patterns and colors is encouraged!

Question

Where can I park for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

https://www.stillwatermn.gov/community/amenities/parking-information OR https://www.one23events.com/directions.html Refer to either of the above maps of downtown Stillwater above for detailed parking information. To the west of Main Street, there is free 3-hour on-street parking and free 4-hour parking in public lots 14 and 15. Paid parking is available at 200 2nd St N, Stillwater, MN 55082 in lot 13. Staying in downtown Stillwater would make your entire day walkable!

Question

A Solution to the Midwestern Goodbye

Answer

We are overjoyed that you are a piece of our wedding day! We'd love to engage in a lengthy debrief with everyone in attendance, but please understand that the bride and groom will prioritize time together and cannot be everywhere at once. If we are dancing or otherwise seem to be enjoying the night, please do not feel the need to inform us of your departure! We know you are tuckered out from frivolities. Instead, opt to text/email us a thank you. This avoids congestion and the feeling of obligation from guests.

Question

Is Smoking Allowed?

Answer

This is a smoke-free event. Please refrain from smoking and vaping, per the venue. Thank you!
