Loren : Throughout our friendship and relationship, I have seen in Stephen a humble, generous, and kind heart. He is also so intelligent, so brilliant. With him, I can be myself 100%, without fear of being judged or misunderstood. He has always been a great listener, ready to support me, and has gently stood by me through all the ups and downs I have faced since we’ve known each other. I have also witnessed the immense love he has for his family and the important place they hold in his life. Despite the distance between them, he is always ready to pick up the phone to hear his parents' voices. The deep respect he has for them and the gratitude he feels for all they have done and continue to do for him have always filled my heart with joy. His sense of family has always amazed me; he is someone who values family ties, who knows where he comes from, and who honors his heritage. I am also touched by his ability to make me laugh, to surprise me with his little gestures, and to always remind me of the beauty of simplicity. All of this, and so much more, made me realize that he was my person.

Stephen: Taking a walk, doing the dishes, getting groceries, mopping the floor- when a person's sole presence can brighten one's mundane parts of life, that person must be the one, and that person, for me, is Loren. Loren has the most fascinating soul I've ever seen. On one hand, she is tender. She is kind, compassionate, and forgiving; her smile and voice can melt and nurture anything. And yet, she is tough. She is bold and resilient; she will never back down from a challenge and will never be afraid to show her beliefs. She cheers me up, she calms me down, she makes me a better person, and she makes me think: It would be so much fun to do the groceries with her every single day, that's when I knew I'd found the one.
