Stephen’s brother and self-proclaimed nerd. Owen and Stephen grew up together and had many similar adventures. They are both Eagle Scouts. Have been in many bands together from Suzuki Violin classes, high school bands, college pep bands, Duct Tape, and even played Summerfest together with Mercury Crossing! Owen also went to the same college as Stephen and was even his RA one year! Owen and Stephen have had many adventures together; going to concerts, downhill skiing, home construction projects, and enjoying great meals together.

Family friend and workout buddy extraordinaire. Keyla's faith, transparency, and listening ear have been a great source of encouragement.

Chet and Stephen first met as leaders of the freshmen boys church youth group. Over four years they led the group together from freshmen to seniors. Chet and Steve have also trained together to run the Chicago Marathon, worked on many projects, and expanded Chet’s culinary pallet by absolutely nothing!

Jeremiah and Stephen met years ago at church. They have served together at Stroll on State, Sharefest, youth group, and many other special events over the years. Jeremiah has been a great person to reflect on life and experiences with and to learn how to better develop and build relationships.

Stephen’s friend and mentor. Stephen and Ben have worked together on many projects around and through the church over the years. Ben has also facilitated several courses and workshops that have helped Stephen grow and develop. Ben and his family took Stephen and Kyndra into their home church during the fall of 2020 and have been a great source of fun and friendship.

Marie and Steve raised Owen and Stephen at yammering Maples ranch in the outskirts of Rockton Illinois. They provided a loving home and went above and beyond to help Owen and Stephen develop into the men they are today.
