Which airport should I fly into?
We recommend that you fly in/out of the Cancun (CUN) airport code as it is only a 30 minute drive to/from the resort.
Transportation
We strongly recommend booking a round-trip shuttle in advance. We recommend booking with Lomas Travel for transportation in the provided link. We've used Lomas a few times and found them to be very reliable and cost effective when compared to other transportation services. Getting around the Mayakoba resort
The entire resort is walkable, but there are also bikes & golf cart shuttles throughout the property to get you from point A to point B. Mayakoba is a private community that spans across several hundred acres, and includes 4 resorts - Fairmont, Rosewood, Banyan Tree, & Andaz. Each property is privately tucked away, but they are all connected via mangrove canals and walkways. All things wedding related will take place at the Fairmont; however, you can also access the restaurants & spas on the other properties if you wish to make a reservation.
Kids
We love our younger guests, and we are excited to see them throughout the weekend should you decide to bring them! However, please note that the wedding events (happy hour, ceremony, and reception) are adults-only. Unfortunately, the wedding happy hour venue, at Cielo, is restricted to adults-only; we found this out late in the process and regret to inform that kids are not allowed. The Fairmont has a kids and teens club with plenty of kid-friendly activities. Please refer to the "Kids FAQ" section for details regarding nanny, kids club, etc.
Dietary Restrictions
The restaurants at the Fairmont are very accommodating of dietary restrictions. For our wedding reception dinner, you will be able to make a note with your RSVP.
No Registry
We are so excited to spend time with our closest friends and families at the resort where we got engaged. Your presence would be the greatest gift to help us celebrate this special weekend.
