EU Entry & Exit System (EES): As of October 2025, the EU launched a new System for travelers arriving from outside the EU, including U.S. citizens. When you land in Spain, border agents will scan your fingerprints and facial image and log your entry digitally. Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from Spain, double-check that expiration date before you book!
