No, La Garriga de Castelladral sits in the heart of Catalonia, about 90 km from Barcelona–El Prat Airport. While it’s outside Barcelona city center, its scenic rural location makes for a beautiful wedding destination and a peaceful place to stay for a few days of celebration.

If you are flying into Barcelona–El Prat Airport, you can reach your hotel via taxi, rideshare, private transfer, or train depending on your lodging location. We recommend arranging transportation well in advance, especially if traveling directly to Cardona. We are working to arrange transportation and will update you all once more information is available.

We will be arriving in Barcelona on July 1st, a few days before the wedding, to finalize preparations and spend time with family and friends traveling in. If you’re arriving early and staying in Barcelona City Centre, let us know. We can’t wait to see you and start celebrating together!

We will be staying at La Garriga de Castelladral, our wedding venue with limited accommodations primarily reserved for the couple and immediate family. For our guests, we recommend the Parador de Cardona, a stunning historic castle hotel overlooking Cardona with breathtaking views and a remarkable atmosphere. If you prefer more spacious accommodations, the Cardona Apartments Turistics offer apartment-style lodging.

Based on our confirmed RSVPs, we do not have enough guests to secure a hotel room block in Cardona. Please visit our travel page for recommended hotel accommodations and lodging information.

Accommodations at the venue are limited and have been reserved for immediate family and the bridal party. Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we are unable to host all guests onsite. Please refer to our recommended hotel options in Cardona for nearby accommodations. Alternatively, we encourage guests to explore Airbnb and other travel booking websites for additional options in the surrounding area.
