When should I RSVP by?

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them at our wedding ceremony and reception. This will be an adults-only event. We hope you understand and use this evening/weekend as an opportunity to enjoy a romantic weekend with your partner. If you are interested in local childcare, please send us an email and we would be happy to provide recommendations!

What is the distance between Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be held at Boxwood Estate, with Cocktail Hour and Reception just a short walk from the Ceremony. Boxwood is a private (non-commercial) historic home on an expansive 50 acres of land. Expect grass, cobblestone, and pavement around the venue. If you would like to wear stilettos, we recommend heel protectors. If you will require accommodations, please reach out to us directly, and we would be happy to help.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to '{Your Name} + Guest' if you have been given a plus one. We would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible. Thank you for understanding!

How do we get there?

Answer

We will be providing transportation from both hotels to the venue via a shuttle. You may opt to use rideshare services, but due to the location of the venue, we cannot guarantee there will be rideshares available at night. There will be parking available if you are local and inclined to drive.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Summer Garden Party Creative! We love a formal occasion, but understand that North Carolina in the summer isn't exactly conducive to black tuxedos. We encourage you to go all out with fashion for the big day! Please see the 'Vision Board' section for attire ideas if you are unsure what to wear. For the sake of the bride's sanity - please don't wear white :) Thanks :)

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide catering with exact guest counts by a certain date, so please do not forget to RSVP!
