What should I wear?

Answer

This is a casual, outdoor wedding. Please wear something you are comfortable in! The ground at Cantigny is gravel and grass, and the ground at Hawthorne’s is grass and some hard flooring.

Where do I park at Cantigny?

Answer

Let the parking attendant know you are here for our wedding, and they will let you in for free. Then just follow the signs to the rose garden - that’s where we will be!

Where should I park at Hawthorne’s Backyard?

Answer

There is a valet at Hawthorne’s Backyard. Just drop your car off at the front!

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We are having a buffet style bbq - think pulled pork, brisket, Mac n cheese, baked beans, etc.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that children are left at home.

What should I do in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Feel free to enjoy the gardens after the ceremony. There are also many local bars in the area. Please see the “things to do” tab for suggestions.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the names provided on the envelope attend.
