Exploring Nashville
Broadway
A must on a trip to Nashville. We recommend visiting during the day for a less crowded experience. A few of our favorite spots include: Roberts Western World, Tootsies, The Stage and Acme. Pretty much every country music artist has a bar on Broadway now so check out your favorite artists spot as well. If the bars aren't your thing, check out 5th and Broadway for shopping or the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Printers Alley
Another area with plenty of bars. A few of our favorites are Black Rabbit, Bourbon Street Blues Bar, Alley Taps and Ms. Kelli's Karaoke Bar.
Germantown
One of our favorite Nashville neighborhoods with a lot to do. For coffee, we recommend Surefire Coffee Co. Geist Bar + Restaurant has great brunch. Mothers Ruin is a good cocktail bar. Sonny's Patio Pub and Refuge is a bar with a nice patio and great atmosphere. Little Hats Italian Market is a delicious spot for lunch. Monday Night and Bearded Iris are two breweries in the neighborhood we recommend. Pelato is a great italian small plates restaurant with a large patio. Take a tour of the Tennessee State Museum or walk around Bicentennial Mall (where our wedding reception is located).
The Gulch
Neighborhood in Nashville that is great for restaurants, shopping and rooftop bars. We recommend Milk & Honey, Adele's, Saint Anejo, Pins Mechanical Company, The Mockingbird and LA Jackson on the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel.
The Nations
This is our neighborhood! For coffee, we recommend Frothy Monkey and Stay Golden. 51st Deli is our go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Bare Bones Butcher is an authentic butcher shop with delicious sandwiches available for lunch. Southern Grist and Fat Bottom are our favorite breweries in the neighborhood. Bringles is a great barbeque spot with an outdoor bar. Midnight Oil is a pizza place with great frozen drinks. The Centennial is a no fuss bar with a good environment.
East Nashville
So many great bars and restaurants in this Nashville Neighborhood it's impossible to list them all. We love Hearts for breakfast, Smith & Lentz Brewing and Pizza, Mitchell's Delicatessen for lunch, Hawkers for dinner and Chopper for cocktails.
Percy Warner Park
Nashville park with plenty of walking and hiking trails to explore.
