Best Man
Anthony has been my best friend since before I can remember. We spent so many years play-acting army men, making full lobbies rage quit or whatever else we came up with that day. His mom & family has called me his "other" brother, while he sometimes might say he doesn't even know me (might be because some people think he is an Amish guy named Jebediah). He has always been an excellent friend and role model who I know I can always pick up right where we left off.
Maid of Honor
My closest friend for years, Julia has been at my side through every minor and major drama of my life since we met in college. She has seen me at my best, my worst, and my weird in-between. This hasn't been a deterrent somehow, and she's been unwavering in her friendship to me. I couldn't be happier to have her with me on my wedding day.
Brother-Man
Brandon has been officially in the family since 2017, but he felt like my brother for years before that. Always down for silly fun whether it's spending a full evening making our own games up at a casino without spending a dime or creating the most unhinged holiday photo albums. You don't need much to have a good time with Brandon. He will always lift up your spirits.
Matron of Honor
A blessing of a friendship, Andrea and I met in 2019. Since our meeting, we've been had plenty of adventures together and she's helped me sort through some of the more difficult parts of my life. She's become like a sister in many ways, and being able to escape to her house for craft days has been a godsend. I'm so happy she'll be with me for my big day!
Groomsman
I moved into Ian's room my 2nd semester at Ave Maria. Since then we have been going on climbing adventures, organizing recreational sports and country wide camping trips for adults. Ian is always down to explore with me and delights in setting things up to see what happens. The perfect guy to chill with, having a deep chat and drinking a whiskey after choosing to run down the hill earlier because it was the more fun option.
Bridesmaid
The youngest of the Carolla siblings, Maria has the biggest heart and is a deeply empathetic person. She's watched my life go up and down like a roller coaster and has always been there for me. She's also so forgiving when I'm constantly changing plans last minute! I love her to death, and am thrilled to have her in my wedding party.
Groomsman
My first impression of Peter was that he was a little rude and dramatic. I would learn that he is the literal opposite. He is one of the most steady and kind people I know. He was my roommate post college for 4 years. We shared many a laughs, drinks and nights playing warzone (especially over 2020). He is a great friend to chat hypotheticals, create adventures and destroy any challenging team in beer pong with.
Bridesmaid
Mary has been like a bright sunflower in my life since high school. You will never meet anyone more optimistic, more cheerful, or more down to earth. I have the best memories of wine nights and talking through our lives' mini-dramas, which are times I wouldn't give up for anything. I'm so blessed she gets to be with me on my wedding day
Groomsman
You can identify Brendan as the righteously bearded man tearing up the dance floor. I've known him since my freshman year at college where we hit it off fast. He has an inspiringly bright and jovial attitude towards life and is an excellent source of advice. He is also expertly skilled in creating mouth watering smoked delights.
Bridesmaid
Anastasia has a bright smile and an even brighter soul. We've spent many late nights together bonding over life stories, and I couldn't be more grateful she's one of my new sister-in-laws.
Groomsman
Sam and I hit it off my first year at Ave during fall break. He has the ability to make anyone smile and feel better after delivering a "heavy joke". He is kind hearted, down to earth and I have only once tried to turn him over to the CIA. However that was before he was "officially" American. He is always down to share good music, good times and good advice.
Bridesmaid
Cassandra and I only met a couple years ago, and during the time since it has been lovely getting to know her. Her kind sweet demeanor is something I truly value, and I think I will need it nearby before the upcoming wedding is over! I'm happy to have her as a bridesmaid - soon to be sister-in-law!
Groomsman
I bonded with Chuck in college on a overnight bus ride over our similar tastes in cars and music. We became even closer when we became roommates soon after. You will rarely find him not laughing about something sometimes at his own expense. He is has a bright and lively soul that never ceases to uplift your spirits. He is also fluent in nonverbal grunting communication.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I were friends in college but I had no idea how that friendship would blossom to what it has become. Over the past several years she has shown me a deeper level of friendship than I ever expected, and at times it was an absolute blessing. She is such a beautiful, wholesome friend and I am so glad she can be with me to celebrate!
