Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids, but will be having an adult only reception aside from nephews and nieces. Please take this opportunity to have a night to yourselves. Feel free to contact us if you require local childcare information.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are having a small wedding where each invited guest is someone important to us. However, we want all of our guests to enjoy themselves. If your invitation says “and guest” we have accounted for you to bring a plus one. If not, we have only planned for your attendance. If we have not offered you a plus one but you would like to bring someone, please contact us and we may be able to make accommodations after the RSVPs have been received.

Do I need to purchase a park pass to Fort Steele?

Answer

No entrance passes are required to enter the park for the wedding

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 3:30 to ensure you have 30 minutes to park, walk to the location of the ceremony (10 min walk from parking lot), and find your seat before the bride and groom arrive. The invitation start time is the ceremony start time.

Where in the park is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held facing Fisher Peak along the fence line. If you go to the gazebo at the center of the park, the ceremony location will be clearly visible.

Are you registered?

Answer

We are not registered as we kindly request no gifts or money. Please bring your company, appetite, and a copy of your favourite recipe. Your best gift to us will be your presence on the dance floor.

Question

Is there transportation to and from Cranbrook to the wedding venue?

Answer

If there is interest, we are going to arrange a shuttle from Cranbrook to Fort Steele before the wedding, and Fort Steele to Cranbrook at the end of the night. When you RSVP, please indicate whether or not you would like a spot on the shuttle.
