If Amy and Stephen had been less focused on singing, badminton, and straight A’s when they met at Mount Baker Secondary School these “doctors” might have figured out their lives a little earlier. It took ten years, and Amy being told by her her preceptor that she was spending too much time at the hospital, for them to finally go out on a date. A kiss in the elevator was all it took. They have been supporting each other’s consuming careers, travelling to bucket list destinations, and raising houseplants together ever since. On a sunny Aug 29th 2019, with a waterfall backdrop, Stephen got down on one knee at their favourite place- Moyie Lake. He promised to love Amy forever and gave her a beautiful dentist ring. They celebrated with their family and Dairy Queen. One year from the date of their engagement, Amy and Stephen invite you to celebrate their marriage. There will be ice cream.
