Save Our Date! 07.16.22

Welcome family & friends! We are so excited to share our special day with you. We will be hosting our ceremony at the enchanting Carp River Gardens in Negaunee, Michigan and our reception will be hosted at the Holiday Inn, Marquette.

After returning from my study abroad trip to Cuba, our mutual friends worked their matchmaking skills to bring us together. Our first official date was on Stephen's birthday, we had an amazing time! We continued to hit it off and spent the whole summer getting to know each other. Stephen worked at the movie theater at the time, so we would meet up and watch movies after hours and sift through movie posters together and enjoy each other's company. We made things official after realizing how much we missed each other after I came back from a trip to Colorado in August.

Stephen proposed on our cruise vacation during our formal night dinner, he was super nervous but pulled it off perfectly. Coincidentally another couple got engaged on the ship that night as well at a different location on the ship! We had an amazing time celebrating our engagement that night by popping bottles at the Ooh La La champagne bar on the ship. Stephen's mom, Rose, and brother Robert were also on the trip, so it was really fun to share the special moment with them. The rest of our trip was like a mini engagement moon, as we traveled to Mexico, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, we soaked up every blissful moment!
