Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us plan, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is April 15th, 2025. We need to provide the venue with the total guest count on time, we hope you can understand.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry, but if you would like to give a gift, a contribution towards our wedding, honeymoon, or future together would mean a lot to us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited, If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the save the date or invite. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the save the date/invite are in attendance.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, except for immediate family.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love seeing our family and friends dressed up for our special day! Our dress code is semi-formal. Ladies are welcome to wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi dresses, while gentlemen can wear a suit and tie. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! Castle Schaffelaar has a dedicated parking lot where guests can park free of charge. There is enough space available, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving at 3PM to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony begins at 3:30PM. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime after 3PM for the welcome reception before the ceremony starts.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and camera away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, drinks are on us! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking. We want all our loved ones to make it home safe.

Question

Will there be meal options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please reach out to the maid of honors and we will work with the caterer to accommodate any special dietary needs.
