While you're here celebrating with us, take some time to relax at the Stillwell Spa. Located right at Snowpine Lodge, the spa offers massages, facials, and their signature oxygen therapy treatment - perfect for recharging at altitude. It's a great way to unwind before or after the big day!
Downtown Salt Lake City is full of charm, history, and walkable sights. Be sure to visit the stunning Utah State Capitol – it sits on a hill with amazing city and mountain views, especially in the spring. You can stroll through Temple Square, grab a coffee or cocktails at local spots, and check out shops and galleries around Main Street and City Creek.
Just over the ridge from our venue in Little Cottonwood Canyon is Big Cottonwood Canyon – aka "Big". This canyon is home to Solitude and Brighton Ski Resorts, and offers some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in Utah. In May, the canyon is perfect for scenic drives, spring hikes like Donut Falls, and peaceful picnics surrounded by towering cliffs and fresh alpine air. It's a great way to experience the natural beauty of Utah without needing to be an expert hiker!
It's our home mountain, what more can we say! Snowbird often stays open through Memorial Day thanks to deep snow and high elevation, and it's just minutes from Alta. Spring skiing here means sunny skies, soft snow, and a fun, relaxed vibe – no heavy layers needed! Even if you're not a skier, you can ride the Arial Tram for incredible mountain views or enjoy apres-ski drinks and live music on the Plaza deck.
If you're looking to get a few holes in during the weekend, this is Steve's home course – nestled against the Wasatch foothills, it is a well maintained 18-hole course with panoramic views and full amenities including a driving range and pro shop.
Just a 35 minute drive from Salt Lake City, Park City offers a charming historic Main Street with boutiques, art galleries, and great restaurants – your quintessential ski-town vibes! Don't forget to grab a drink at the famous No Name Saloon, known for their unique atmosphere and eclectic decor. Another personal favorite of ours is taking a ride on The Cabriolet lift into Canyons village for a quick bite or drink.
If you're in Park City, a visit to Utah Olympic Park is a must. Built for the 2002 Winter Olympics, this 400-acre venue offers a mix of thrilling activities and Olympic history.
As Utah’s largest island in the Great Salt Lake, it spans over 28,000 acres and is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including a free-roaming herd of 500–700 bison—the largest publicly owned herd in the U.S.
