The nearest airport is Salt Lake City International (SLC), about 40 minutes away by car. Rental cars, shuttles, and taxis are available.
The ceremony and reception are both located at the Snowpine Lodge, where we have our room block. There is no need for transportation for the wedding day events if you are staying at the Snowpine Lodge.
We asks that our guests wear semi-formal cocktail attire.
The wedding will be outdoors/indoors. The average temperature around that time is usually 50 degrees. We will be in the mountains so the temperatures can drop significantly in the evening. Dress accordingly! Note: if you are planning to spend any time in the valley during your trip, temperatures will be considerably warmer than the mountains, averaging around 70 degrees for that time of year.
Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to be seated on time.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thanks for understanding!
Yes, Snowpine Lodge offers a few different dining options throughout your stay. Swen's Restaurant offers an approachable menu with a refined dining experience. They also serve breakfast during the week and brunch on the weekends. The Gulch Pub is another great option for a more casual atmosphere - the perfect place to grab a drink or a quick bite.
We recommend staying two nights at the Snowpine Lodge where the wedding will take place (Friday and Saturday night). For those looking to stay local to Salt Lake City, there are many hotel options in Cottonwood Heights, Sandy, or downtown Salt Lake. Here's a few options you may want to consider: • Courtyard Salt Lake City Cottonwood (7341 Canyon Centre Pkwy) • Hyatt Place Salt Lake City/Cottonwood (3090 E 6200 S) • Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City/Sandy (277 W Sego Lily Dr) If you're looking to spend more time in Park City, there are also several great hotel options ranging in price. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Park City - The Yarrow, may be a good option for reasonable pricing and only a 5 minute drive to downtown Park City. For those considering going to any national parks, note that they are 3-4 hours away from Salt Lake - you will probably want to consider an overnight near the park. Please text Alix or Steve if you want specific recommendations and we're happy to help plan!
