Welcome to Aspen! There are a few great options for getting here and experiencing Aspen. You can fly directly into Aspen and rent a car, or skip the rental car altogether. Many attractions are within walking distance, and the town is well-served by frequent, free public buses and other convenient ride options. Alternatively, you can fly into Denver International Airport, rent a car, and take a scenic drive through the stunning Rocky Mountains to Aspen. If you choose this route, please be sure to research Independence Pass and plan accordingly. It’s one of the highest paved roads in North America and, while absolutely breathtaking, it’s not for everyone due to its climbs and sharp turns. For a more relaxed drive, you can also take Interstate 70. If you have any questions or need advice, please don't hesitate to reach out to Steph or Derek.

Travel Note

Getting to the Ceremony via Personal Car

There is designated free parking for our wedding guests in the Buttermilk parking lot. Please view attached map, the lot is the green ASC lot with a black star.

Travel Note

Getting to the Ceremony via Free Public Bus

You can take a free public bus from Aspen to the ceremony/reception. From Rubey Park Transit Center, TAKE THE BURLINGAME BUS THAT DEPARTS AT 2:50. If you miss that bus, there is another Burlingame bus departing 30 minutes later at 3:20 or you can ask the attendant in the station for your options to get to Buttermilk ASAP. You will get off the bus at the "Buttermilk" stop and cross the street to Buttermilk Mountain. If you are concerned about being on the correct bus or missing the stop, please communicate with the bus driver as you board the bus. The bus drivers are super helpful and will ensure you get to your destination. :) Please view the map for more information.

Travel Note

Getting to the Ceremony via Cab, Drop Off, or Rideshare

Uber and Lyft services are not super common in Aspen but you can give it a try because sometimes there are drivers. If your hotel has valet, we recommend using those services for drop off / pick up. Aspen's cab service is High Mountain Taxi and their number is: 970-925-8294

Travel Note
