Located in town and easy to walk to, John Denver Sanctuary is a walkable, accessible slice of nature right in the heart of Aspen. Enjoy the meandering paths and calming river sounds.

On Saturday, take a walk through Aspen's Farmer's Market. 9am - 2pm
Upper Hunter Creek Trail
This is the perfect beginner trail to go on if you want to feel like you are hiking but without a steep elevation. To get to the trail, take the Hunter Creek bus from Rubey Park to the stop called "Hunter Creek." The trailhead is almost directly across from the bus stop. The trail opens with many bridges and natural water features, and it is maintained very well. Can access without bus as well. Feel free to text Steph or Derek for more tips.
Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Game
Rugby is a autumn tradition in Aspen. Stroll by on Saturday afternoon and cheer on our local team, The Gentleman of Aspen, at Wagner Park.
Mactoberfest
Come try local restaurants’ Macaroni and Cheese dishes as they battle it out to win the coveted best Mac and Cheese trophy. Saturday, 1 - 3pm

A Second Home Great spot to enjoy a marg. Sit in the bar area with the high tops for big windows and a fun vibe. Steph worked here for 6 years so feel free name drop her. :)
Escobar Patio
Local Watering Hole Located in the center of the pedestrian mall, you can't miss it. Open during the days and is a great spot for a quick, simple cocktail and catching an Aspen Local vibe.
Swedish Hill at Aspen Art Museum
Great Rooftop Cafe for Lunch Fresh food and locally baked bread, Swedish Hill is worth it if you want to spend a little extra for lunch. Great salads, sandwiches, and sweeping views of Aspen Mountain. You can peruse the Art Museum Exhibits for free! Taking the stairs or elevator required to access the rooftop
Clark's Oyster Bar
Steph and Derek's Favorite Spot for a "Quick Six" Great oysters, seafood, espresso martinis, and one of the best burgers in town
Meat & Cheese Restaurant
Great spot for lunch or dinner. Serves locally sourced food.

Friendly hang for noodles and drinks.
Grateful Deli
Subs and Salads. Easy. Take out only. Grab sandwiches to go and eat in one of Aspen's many parks.
Matsuhisa
Live the high life, brush elbows with a celebrity or two, and enjoy this Aspen staple. Eat downstairs if you can. Derek loves the spicy garlic shrimp, new style salmon, and whitefish tiradito. Try the Gardener drink, its our favorite cocktail in town. Derek prefers gin while Steph takes tequila.
