Hotel
The Capri Hotel is a 1963 Mid-Century Modern retreat that was completely renovated in 2020 and has a beautiful pool nestled in an oasis surrounded by palm trees and the Topa Topa Mountains. We will also be staying here for a couple nights leading up to the wedding. Rooms start at $329 per night. 10 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride (most hotels in Ojai offer complimentary bikes to guests!).
Hotel
Cozy, cabin-style hotel with modern decor. The Rancho Inn also has a large grassy back area with a pool and a bar - perfect for relaxing in the sun! We've stayed here before and really enjoyed how small and quaint it is. Rooms can usually be booked 90 days in advance so we recommend checking for availability in late January or early February. 15 minute walk to downtown and a 4 minute bike ride.
Hotel
The iconic Ojai Valley Inn is undoubtedly the most luxurious option in Ojai, offering an abundance of activities with a legendary golf course, 31,000 square foot Spa Village, and multiple pools. The Inn has been consistently honored in Condé Nast Traveler Magazine's Top 100 Hotels in the World and has also been chosen by Travel + Leisure as one of the Best Hotels in the World. If you're looking to really relax and make a vacation out of this weekend, then the Inn is the perfect choice! You could walk to downtown from here (29 minute walk) but we recommend biking (7 minutes) or driving (5 minutes).
Hotel
Located in a delightful garden-in-the-city setting in downtown Ojai, the Caravan Outpost is one of the most unique accommodations that Ojai offers. The grounds include eleven exclusive Airstream caravans, as well as a one-bedroom mini house that can fit 1-4 people. We have stayed here multiple times and absolutely love it. The location is fantastic and it's a great choice if you're looking to stay somewhere different and "very Ojai". 10 minute walk to downtown or a 3 minute bike ride.
Flight
LAX will be the best airport for you to fly into in terms of cost and flight options. It is 1.5 hours away from Ojai (depending on traffic of course!) so we recommend that you rent a car for the weekend. You could Uber or taxi from LAX to Ojai but it will be difficult for you to get an Uber from Ojai to LAX since they're not really a thing with the town being so small.
Flight
Burbank is another smaller airport located in Los Angeles that you have the option flying into. It's 1 hour and 20 minutes from Ojai (again, depending on traffic!) and we recommend renting a car.
Flight
SBA will be the closet airport to Ojai (about 50 minutes away) but it might be more expensive than LAX or Burbank, depending on where you're flying in from. You could Uber or taxi from SBA to Ojai but just be sure to arrange your ride from Ojai back to SBA in advance.
