Stephanie was born in Canada and grew up with an interest in science and enjoyed competitive swimming, playing the cello, and watching TV with her family. She moved to Arizona to pursue her PhD in Biochemistry from Arizona State University, where she met Robayet. Stephanie enjoys reading books, hiking and traveling.
Akanksha
Matron of Honor
Akanksha is originally from West Bengal, India, now lives in San Francisco Bay area, just like Stephanie and Robayet. She met them during their PhD days at Arizona State University, where they became friends (mostly due to shared trauma of grad school!). She loves dancing, yoga, hiking, reading thrillers, trying new coffee spots, and spoiling her cats.
Sarai
Bridesmaid
Sarai grew up in Washington state raising cattle and competing in Rodeo. Sarai and Stephanie became fast friends while researching in the same lab spaces in the Environmental and Molecular Sciences Laboratory. Sarai loves mass spectrometry, reading, yoga, swimming, Asian dramas and travel. Fun fact: Sarai learned how to ride a bike in Berlin at the age of 35!
Sanchari

Sanchari grew up in the eastern part of India and came to Arizona for her graduate studies. Here, she met with Stephanie and Robayet through the School of Molecular Sciences department at Arizona State University. She loves board games, puzzles, reading books, hanging out with friends and binge watching movies and series.
Pritha
Bridesmaid
Pritha is from the state of West Bengal in India. She met with Robayet and Stephanie from their shared PhD days at Arizona State University, and soon became the closest of buddies through shared moments of banter, laughter, frustrations, and everything in between. She likes painting, reading science related books, music, and googling random things on the internet.
