Flight
We recommend flying into San Francisco Airport, although Oakland and San Jose are also options, depending on what is most convenient for you.
Train
BART is a great way to get around Bay Area. For ease of use, we recommend getting a Clipper Card added to your wallet.
Travel Note
We recommend either renting a car or considering Lyft or Uber. Bay Area is quite large and especially if you’re planning to do some site seeing, a vehicle would make this much more achievable. That being said, the bride has walked most of SF on her first trip back in 2018, so this is totally doable if you wear comfortable shoes and you want to stay mostly in SF.
Travel Note
There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs in Bay Area. We recommend staying somewhere either in SF or Emeryville, where the bride and groom live, as this will be a good mid point between the two venues. We want you to stay safe, and with crime rate high in many cities around the Bay, we encourage you to contact the bride or groom if you have questions or concerns.
