We’re getting MARRIED!

Our love story is a beautiful blend of serendipity, faith and courage, where connections and heartfelt moments led us to where we are today. It all began five years ago at our close friend Daren's house party. That night, we met, and our eyes locked in a way that felt like destiny. Though we had heard of each other through our respective connections (Stephanie's sister, Nathalie is married to Michael’s good friend Michael Forbes) it wasn't until that magical evening that we truly connected. We spent the whole night talking and laughing, Michael teaching Stephanie how to play pool and Stephanie pretending she didn't already learn to play from her dad. Despite the strong connection, it wasn’t our time…yet. Two years later, Stephanie made an Instagram post while celebrating the start of summer with her friend Cristal on her last day of school. Little did we know that this post would change our lives. Michael saw the post and took a leap of faith by inviting her to Philadelphia for a date. Her mother and friends encouraged her to get out of her comfort zone and respond. She traveled to Philadelphia for a weekend-long first date that Michael thoughtfully planned. From that moment, our love story blossomed. For two long and love-filled years, we cultivated and nurtured a long-distance relationship, counting down the days until we could be together. Then, in a moment filled with love and commitment, Michael proposed, and Stephanie made the incredible journey to Philadelphia. Finally, we were able to live together, and our story continues to be a testament to the power of love, patience, and taking chances on the extraordinary.
