Do you have any hotel recommendations?

We do! We recommend the following resorts in Playa Del Carmen (see "Travel" tab for more details): - Paradisus Resort - all inclusive (for adults and families) - The Grand Hyatt - non all inclusive (for adults and families) - The Hilton in Playa del Carmen - all inclusive (adults only) - The Thompson Main House - non all inclusive (adults only) If you need other suggestions or have questions feel free to reach out to us!

Do you have a room block at any of the resorts?

We do not. You'll receive the best deal by booking directly on the resort's website.

Where will the Bride and Groom be staying?

Stephanie and Mark will be staying at the Paradisus Resort in Playa Del Carmen.

Should I stay in Playa Del Carmen or Cancun?

Answer

We recommend staying in Playa Del Carmen as it is closer to the wedding venue. There are many hotel options in Cancun, however the drive to and from the wedding venue is longer (30-45 minutes).

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend flying in and out of Cancun International Airport (CUN). Playa del Carmen is 45 minutes south of Cancun International Airport.

Is there pre-arranged transportation from the airport to the Paradisus Resort?

Answer

We do not have pre-arranged transportation from the airport to the Paradisus Resort. There will be plenty of taxis and shuttles available at the airport.

When should I arrive in Mexico?

Answer

We encourage everyone to enjoy some time off and relax in Mexico. Guests should arrive before the ceremony on XX with extra time to spare!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will be available from the Paradisus Resort. If you're staying at another resort please contact your concierge for the best transportation service.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Will there be parking at the venue for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no parking available. Shuttles and taxis will pick up and drop off.

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at Villa la Joya.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be cocktail attire (cocktail dresses, LBD's, jumpsuits, slacks and jackets). Please no jeans or shorts.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. If there is inclement weather we will have an event tent.

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We are hosting a unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all guests put away their cell phones and enjoy the moment with us. We've got an awesome photographer who will capture everything!
